Fried Eggs with Sambal Rica Rica

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sambal Sambal's own Rica Rica!

Instructions:

1. Pour enough vegetable oil into a non-stick skillet to cover the bottom. Heat the oil over medium-high heat until hot but not smoking.

2. Crack the eggs into the hot oil. Be cautious to avoid splattering.

3. Fry the eggs for about 1-2 minutes until the edges start to turn golden brown and crispy. (The crispier, the better!)

4. Season the eggs with a pinch of salt and pepper to taste.

5. Flip the eggs carefully. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes on the other side until the edges are golden brown and crispy, and the egg whites are fully set but the yolks are still slightly runny.

6. Serve the fried eggs on a plate. Smother and drizzle the eggs with Sambal Rica Rica. 

7. Enjoy! We recommend eating this with hot steamed rice, sourdough toast and butter, or your favourite brand of mie goreng. Enjoy this quick and tasty meal!
